First CharIN North America Workshops took place last week
The first CharIN North America workshops took place on November 1st in Newport Beach, California and on November 3rd in Southfield, Michigan with almost 50 participants in total. The workshops were of great interest, especially for the North American contacts of our CharIN members.

The White House said on Thursday it will establish 48 national electric-vehicle (EV) charging networks on nearly 25,000 miles of highways in 35 U.S. states.
Australia-based fast charger company Tritium expanding to US
Australia-based Tritium, developer and manufacturer of the Veefil 50 kW DC fast charger for electric vehicles, will open its first overseas premises in Torrance, California in early 2017. The US facility will focus on technical customer support, assembly, manufacturing and R&D.
Renault To Equip Future EVs with 22 kW AC and 100 kW DC CCS Combo Charging
French media reports that Renault is considering two charging options for its future electric cars: 22 kW AC (three-phase Type 2 inlet) and 100 kW DC (CCS Combo – European version)
