KERI - Korea Electrotechnology Research Institute - joins CharIN

Since it started in 1976 as a national organization to perform test for certification, KERI has been leading development of electrotechnology with power projects and research and development in electricity engineering and utilization.

The institute is contributing to industrial advancement of the nation with large-scale generictechnology development and technology transfer including 765kV electric power facilities, control system for the power plant control rod actuator, Korean energy management system(K-EMS), engineering technology for high-speed train electrical system, digital X-ray imagingdiagnostic equipment, magnetic levitation control system for maglev trains, and cleantransport system for the semiconductor manufacturing process among others.

 

Being selected as one of the top 3 global testing and certification bodies, KERI has been contributing to improvement of competitiveness and credibility of domestic electricity andelectrotechnology sector up to global level.

  • Electric parts/materials research and development

 

KERI has been interested in EV related technologies including V2G, and by joining CharIN, KERI will support to promote EV market and to build the testing and certificate process in CharIN.
