Ingeteam joins CharIN e.V.

Founded in 1972, Ingeteam is a leading company specializing in the design of power and control electronics (frequency converters, process automation and control systems), electrical machines (generators and motors),electric vehicle charging points, electrical engineering and generation plants.

To date, Ingeteam has supplied more than 2,000 electric vehicle charging points under the INGEREV brand. In this field of activity, Ingeteam offers a wide range of products that cover the residential, professional and public charging. Furthermore, Ingeteam offers a fast charger, the INGEREV RAPID Trio 50 kW, with a triple connector (CCS, CHAdeMO and AC) that enables a simultaneous DC and AC charging.

 

Ingeteam joins CharIN e.V. as a regular member to participate in the development of a fast charging standard for the global market. Our aim is to design and manufacture fast charging stations for the European and American market, where Ingeteam is much present with the rest of its product portfolio (windmill generators, solar photovoltaic inverters…)

 

Ingeteam presence in CharIN e.V. can be of help for the association due to its proven experience in power electronics, renewable energy products and electric vehicle charging infrastructure, especially in the Spanish market.

 

Ingeteam currently holds the Presidency of AEDIVE (Asociación Empresarial para el Desarrollo e Impulso del Vehículo Eléctrico) the Spanish cluster of companies related with electric mobility, with strong ties with the national administration and other European organizations.

 

In the renewable energy sector, Ingeteam has already supplied 39 GW in power converters for RE power plants and is amongst the TOP 10 companies dedicated to the operation and maintenance of that kind of plants (wind, PV, hydro and biomass), with a portfolio of more than 8.6 GW.

 

The company operates in all continents, and has a headcount of around 3,700 employees around the world. Ingeteam invests 7% of its annual turnover in R&D, which is the backbone of the company's business activity.

EEVC 2017 with CharIN
